Our International Involvement
Having an impact that goes beyond a successful solar installation is important to us. Each year we take a portion of our gross sales and use it fund or work on international or local projects that make life better for those in need. This is our way of paying it forward.
Sunbridge Helps Electrify Rural Off-Grid Schools
Sunbridge Solar partners with Light for Education and Portland Pearl Rotary Club to electrify another off-grid school in La Guajira, Colombia.
Colombia + Amazon Humanitarian Project
Sunbridge Solar traveled to Colombia and to the Amazon and worked on two humanitarian solar projects alongside our Colombian partners Sunbridge Colombia.
International Solar Education Exchange
We sponsored our friend and now business partner Jeevan Baidya to come visit us here in Portland from his home in Nepal to exchange knowledge.
Water Pumping Station in Gorka, Nepal
Gorka was hit particularly hard by the earthquake in 2014. Helping our partners at Sunbridge Solar Nepal together we built 3 x 25 kW solar water pumping stations.
Solar Powered Bayalpata Hospital, Nepal
We teamed up with the Portland Pearl Rotary to bring solar power and battery backup to an off grid hospital located in the Achham District of Far Western Nepal.

We participated in empowering two communities in rural Nepal through the power of the sun.
